i visited musem in V&A which title is ‘Fashioning Masculinities: The Art of Menswear.’ i visit for fun and found an interesting idea this time as well.

This is a fig leaf used for the cast of Michelangelo’s David. According to the description of this work, Queen Victoria was shocked by the nudity of the cast when the firs time she saw it. Hence, the fig leaf was used to cover the genitalia. The fig leaves were mentioned in the story of The Garden of Eden of the book ‘shame and sexuality’. The way it used to censor the nudity and story of the book seems connected in terms of sexuality.
i think i gathered sufficient ideas for the work and all i need to do is to make up my mind what to use. it took times longer than i expected so i have to focus on managing time from now on.
