first try on black denim. Seems it turned green.
The fabric i used is not exactly same as the denim in video. There are some possibilities.
Fabric matter? Bleach type matter? Or wrong method?
Last time i tried few years ago, it happened same. It turns green or orange. I searched about it and says denim cannot be pure white.
I should put some time on it by trying different methods. So this experiment should be proceeded with other work simultaneously.
First try- Domestod
Maybe i should dampen denim before bleaching.
The colour of the bleach i used might be the reason. The colour is already green and yellow like oil.
The bleach in video seems like water like colour.
As i expected it turned green. However i dont think its fail.
This is a swatch i found in fabric shop and i love this fabric. I just found out the way to make this colour on denim on my own now. – happy accident
On the other hand, the indigo denim i bleached didnt work.
I poured bleach as same amount as black denim but nothing special happened, just few stain-like colour.
Second try- the thick bleach asda
bleaching on soaked denim and bleached twice.
Bleached faster when its soaked but Not really different actually
Dyed when its wet. Not sure about it
The purple is exactly what i expected so its fine
But green has been mixed with bleach i need to try again
I need to try dying when the fabric is totally dried.
Third- asda thick bleach – transparent bleach
It does not brighten the denim more than previous one.
After its dried, it became brighter than when its wet and it shows the bright enoguh colour.
This is the last bleach test. Tried other two bleaches
Extra thick bleach is perfect.
When i pour bleach and dye i cant controll it so i will use brush to make an effect as i intend
i tried dye in two ways: pour the dye when it is wet and dried. When it was wet, it seems like water colour while it shows more saturated colour when i pour it when its dried.
