Final illustration- the pose is overall boring. I tried walking pose but the tutor pointed out that my illustration dont look like it was drawn by same person. So i unified all of outfits into simply standing pose to save time.
The tutor told me to look at valeria’s work. In this term, as i mentioned on first ppd i wanted to try watercolour and her style is exactly what i wanted to try. She gave me some advice such as technique and i used that for painting bleached jeans. This is the first time using watercolour to paint garment. im not sure if it is good enough but i am happy that i tried totally different style of term2 illustration which was bold and digital. In term2, i was told that my digital illustration looks cartoon. Although I was pretty happy with it i will try only hand drawing and painting except small details because there might be unexpecting potential that i can present my illustration in a better way.
As i rushed finishing the final illustration, thr most of the outfits were focused on the top, not the trouser design. For this reason, most of trousers are simply denim which is mundane. Furthermore, some of outfits came from variation design of other outfits so you can tell there are some similar details to other outfits like the position chain.
Besides, the overall flow of the design, from leather to flower pattern doesn’t really look smooth. Especially the part from leather to sponge-like fabric seems little random.
